Jedes Leben ist kostbar

Every life is precious

1. Die Geisteslehre resp. Die ‹ Lehre der Wahrheit, Lehre des Geistes, Lehre des Lebens › lehrt, dass jegliches Leben kostbar ist.

1. The spiritual teaching, i.e. “teaching of the truth, teaching of the spirit, teaching of the life” teaches that every life is precious.

2. Die Praxis des Lernens der Lehre und des Lebens fordert, dass dafür ein tiefes Verständnis entwickelt wird und dass sich der Mensch zu diesem Gewahrsein führt.

2. The practice of the learning of the teaching and of the life demands that a deep understanding becomes developed for it and that the human being leads themselves towards this true-being

3. Es muss die Kostbarkeit des Lebens erkannt, und es muss dafür alle Achtsamkeit und Aufmerksamkeit eingesetzt werden, und zwar ohne dass zuerst in irgendwelcher Art und Weise ein Leben in seinem Bestand gefährdet wird.

3. The preciousness of the life must be recognised, and all attentiveness and  heedfulness must be put in and indeed firstly, without endangering a life in its existance in any form and wise.

4. In dem Masse, in dem die Qualität des Lebens und dessen Einfachheit und Gegenwärtigkeit erkannt wird, muss der Mensch von Liebe dafür durchdrungen werden und darin den Ausdruck der Lebenswürdigung finden.

4. To the extent, in which the quality of the life and its plainness and presentness is recognised, the human being must become permeated by love for it and find the expression of the appreciation of life in it.

5. Es muss ein tiefes Verständnis für das Leben entwickelt werden, wie wertvolle Gedanken und Gefühle der Kostbarkeit des Lebendürfens sowie des Verstehens des Lebenssinnes.

5. A deep comprehension for the life must become developed, as valueful thoughts and feelings for the preciousness of the necessity of life as well as the understanding of the sense of life.

6. Die Praxis der Geisteslehre hält dazu an, über die richtige Lebensweise nachzudenken und die lebensmässigen Höhen und Tiefen zu ergründen, so auch im Zusammenhang dessen, dass der eigene Tod vor Augen gehalten und darüber gründlich nachgedacht wird.

6. At this, the practice of the spiritual teaching asks for one to think over the right wise of life and to fathom the life-based highs and lows, so also in the context that one’s own death is held in sight and is thoroughly thought over.

7. Sich dafür Ruhe und Zeit zu nehmen ist von enormer Wichtigkeit, denn nur dadurch kann das Leben, die Lebensführung und die Vergänglichkeit des Lebens durch eine Kontemplation resp. innere bewusstseinsmässige Sammlung, Versenkung und ein konzentriert-beschauliches Nachdenken nachvollzogen werden.

7. Taking rest and time for this is of enormous importance, because only thereby can the life, the life-conduct and the transiency of the life be understood through a contemplation, i.e., inner consciousness-based gathering, immersion and a concentrative-tranquil reflection.

8. Wird das mit geschlossenen Augen richtig getan, dann kann der Sterblichkeit des eigenen Körpers nachgespürt werden.

8. If that is done rightly with closed eyes, then the mortality of one’s own body can be traced.

9. Der Tod ist absolut sicher und unausweichbar – doch der Zeitpunkt des Todes muss erst noch gefunden werden, was aber erst dann sein wird, wenn er an das Leben herantritt.

9. The death is absolutely certain and unavoidable – but the point in time of the death must first still be found, which however, will only be then, when it approaches the life.

10. Es ist aber möglich, sich diesen Augenblick vom Ende des Lebens vorzustellen und dabei die tiefe Ruhe, den Frieden und die Liebe zu fühlen, die vom Tod ausgeht.

10. However, it is possible to imagine this moment of the end of the life and thereby feel the deep stillness, the peace and the love, which comes from the death.

11. Und wenn dies geschieht, dann weichen auch die Angst und Bangigkeit davor zurück, und es öffnet sich ein Weg des Verstehens für den Tod selbst, wie aber auch dafür, dass sowohl das eigene wie auch jegliches andere Leben unmessbar kostbar ist.

11. And when this happens, then the anxiety and trepidation also draws back and it opens up a way of the understanding for the death itself, as however, also for that both one’s own life and also any other life is unmeasureably precious.

12. Diese Erkenntnis ist etwas Grossartiges, das einfach im Bewusstsein aufgestiegen werden lassen muss, und zwar so tiefgreifend, wie es sich anbietet.

12. This cognition is something magnificient, which simply must be allowed to rise into the consciousness and indeed thus in a deep-reaching manner as it is offered.

13. Und während diese Dinge vor Augen gehalten werden, ist darauf zu achten, wie alles sehr tiefgründig auf die Gedanken und Gefühle wirkt und wie sich deren und des Bewusstseins Zustand positiv verändert.

13. And while these things are held in sight, one is to pay attention to how everything effects the thoughts and feelings in a deep-reaching manner and how their state and state of the consciousness changes positively.

14. Wird nunmehr die spezielle Qualität der inneren bewusstseinsmässigen Situationen genau betrachtet, eben das, was sich im Augenblick ergibt, dann zeigen sich Dinge auf, die vorher unvorstellbar waren, und zwar insbesondere in bezug auf Aktionen und Worte, die im Zusammenhang mit der positiven Veränderung des Bewusstseins sowie der Gedanken und Gefühle einhergehen.

14. If now the special quality of the inner consciousness-based situations are precisely observed and considered, simply that, which arises in the moment, then things are shown which were hitherto unimaginable, and namely especially in regards to actions and words which come along in connection with the positive change of the consciousness as well as the thoughts and feelings.

15. Plötzlich können durch die Ruhe und den Frieden Erinnerungen an gute Taten in Erscheinung treten, wobei dann festgestellt wird, dass sie eigentlich in guten, ruhigen und friedlichen Augenblicken erstaunlich einfach zu bewerkstelligen waren, weil nichts Böses sie beeinträchtigen konnte und vor allem das Leben als sehr kostbar erachtet wurde.

15. Suddenly, through the stillness and the peace, memories of good actions can step into appearance, whereby it is then established that they were actually surprisingly simple to achieve in good, calm and peaceful moments because nothing evil can restrict them and above all, the life was considered as very precious.

16. Das hat nichts mit etwas Grandiosem oder Phantastischem zu tun, denn in solchen Augenblicken wird das tiefe Innere des Bewusstseins berührt, weil sich ein Zustand einer besonderen Achtsamkeit und Aufmerksamkeit ergibt, aus dem heraus sich auch eine Fürsorge für das Leben und dessen Kostbarkeit ergibt.

16. That has nothing to do with anything grandiose or fantastic, because in such moments, the deep inner of the consciousness is touched, because a state of a special attentiveness and heedfulness arise, from out of which a welfare for the life and its presciousness arise.

17. Das Ganze ist dabei in eine grundlegende Intimität der Liebe gehüllt, was zu Augenblicken des Berührens und Berührtwerdens der unermesslichen Kostbarkeit des Leben führt.

17. The whole thing is thereby enveloped in a fundamental intimacy of the love, which leads towards moments of the touching and growing of touch with the unmeasureable preciousness of the life.

18. Und diese Augenblicke des Erkennens, Erfahrens und Erlebens der Kostbarkeit des Lebens führen in diesem dazu, dass grosse und wertvolle Dinge getan werden.

18. And this moment of the recognition, experience and living-experience of the preciousness of the life leads thereto, that great and valueful things become done.

19. Und wird die Kostbarkeit jedes Lebens erkannt, dann ist dies einer der Wege dazu, Liebe, Frieden, Freiheit, Harmonie und Glücklichkeit zu erschaffen und zu verbreiten.

19. And if the preciousness of every life is recognised, then this is one of the ways to create and to spread love, peace, freedom and harmony and happiness.
