Der Mensch hat etwas in seinem Geistbewusstsein und in seinem materiellen Bewusstsein, das ihn grundsätzlich erst zum Menschen macht, so nämlich seine Vernunft, seinen Verstand, seine Klugheit und seine Moral.

The human being has something in his/her spirit- consciousness and in his/her material consciousness that fundamentally first makes them into the human being, so namely, their rationality, their intellect, their sageness and their morals.

Alle diese Faktoren zusammen nennt man RATIO.

All these factors together one names RATIO.

Wenn nun also künftighin in den Lehrbriefen anstelle von Verstand, Vernunft, Moral und Klugheit usw. das Wort RATIO steht, dann weisst du, was damit gemeint ist.

If now the word RATIO is employed in the future in the study material instead of intellect, rationality, morals and sageness, etc., then you know what is meant by it.

Also ist nicht nur im Geiste der Faktor Ratio zu finden , sondern eben auch im materiellen Bereiche der Bewusstseinsformen.

Therefore the factor ratio is not only to be found in the spirit, but even also in the material area of the consciousness-form.

Die Hauptaufgabe der Ratio verkörpert sich darin, schädliche aufkommende Ideen zu beheben, so sie nicht in den Mittelpunkt der Aufmerksamkeit gelangen können.

The main task of the ratio embodies itself in remedying damaging arising ideas, so they can not reach into the focus of the attention.

Diese Aufgabe erfüllt sie, solange sie wachen Zustandes ist.

It fulfils this task as long as it is in an awakened state.

Es bedeutet dies, dass sie so lange voll und korrekt funktionsfähig ist, wie sie nicht durch irgendwelche Einflüsse betäubt wird , so zum Beispiel durch Hypnose, Halluzinogene und Alkohol usw. usf., die die Ratio teilweise oder ganz auszuschalten vermögen.

It means that it is able to function fully and correctly as long as it is not deadened by any influences, so for example, through hypnosis, hallucinogens and alcohol, and so on and so forth, which are able to partially or completely turn off the ratio.

Bei jeglicher menschlichen Lebensform ist die ratio anders entwickelt.

The ratio is developed differently with each human life-form.

Dies darum, weil sie ja durch die externe und interne Erziehung und durch das gesamte Erdenleben und Erleben zu dem gemacht wird, was sie ist.

This is because through the external and internal education and through the entire Earth-life and experiencing it is made into that, what it is.
